  1. @MrPunkRock911 set it on vivid mode

  2. If you want a more eyecatching, extremely bright TV and do not care about accuracy of colors, blacks, or motion accuracy then go LCD or LEDLCD. IF you like to play with settings get LCD as they have more options because their technology is more complicated. If you like the fake looking effect get LED/LCD. You will get a smaller tv that looks more neat.

    YOU DECIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Therefore, If size is important to you and you are a middle class American looking for a brand name TV, Plasma is the better bang for your buck as you can save from $200-$800 on average for equal size LEDLCD/Plasmas. If you don’t like the fakey effect that LCD gives and want an accurate, excellent looking picture with accurate rich colors and Deep Blacks then go Plasma.

  4. LCD/LED LCD:

Refresh rate: typically 120 to 140hz (Fast movements look fake (can look kinda cool)

Colors: Less accurate, Black outlined affect , Blacks are Dark Dark Gray

    Price: 1080 p 42 inch LCD $1,200 42 inch LEDLCD $1,400

    Brightness: Brilliant, especially for LED

Games: Trouble with dark scenes, good for sports gaming if you adjust settings to account for slower refresh rate so no delay or lag.

Movies: Looks fake when motion increases. Black Outlines

  5. Alright I have read almost all of these posts. Here is a cohesive unbiased piece that will help potential consumers make their decisions…

    Plasmas:
Refresh rate: 600hz (Looks more natural with fast motion appearing natural)
Colors: are more natural, (wider range of colors)
    Price: 50inch 1080p Plasma=$1000
Brightness: Bright but nothing extraordinarily blinding
Games: Where setting shifts from day to night Excellent (Deeper Richer Blacks)
Movie Fast Moving Scenes accurate Cinemalike

  15. Plasma still produces the most accurate images in every way. LCD will catch up eventually while offering significantly lower power consumption, but plasmas are still around for a reason.

  18. Dude I got an LCD and got burn in!
And when I took it back for a Plasma, the stupid thing had dead pixels!
So I took it back for a DLP and the glare was un-bearable!
So What did I do? Nothing.
I now have the best entertainment possible and it has been around for ages!
    Starring at my wall……

  48. I repair PSP’s all the time, and when a mother board is fried, I put it aside and get a new one for it. I was wondering if you can do a video of what the hell is actualy on a PSP’s motherboard. I already know that it HAS to have a 333 MHZ Processor, but I don’t get ehat all the other crap is for on the board, unless it is RAM, and sound and video processing. . .

    hydrolisk1792August 27, 2010 @ 11:11 pm
  49. Only 2 chips are by Sony in that entire HDTV? LOL!
